Lesson Plan About Animal





LESSON PLAN

      Topic/Theme                    : Going To The Zoo / Name of Animals
      Method                             : Audiovisual Method
      Time Allocation               : 1 x 30 minutes


I.          STANDARD COMPETENCE
Listening
Understanding the very simple instructions to act in the context of surrounding students
Speaking
Delivering the very simple informations in the context of surrounding students
Reading
Understanding the very simple written english in the context of surrounding students
Writing
Spelling and answer the very simple questions in english, in the context of surrounding students

II.        BASIC COMPETENCE
1.1 Respond by repeating new vocabulary or sentence concerning about the name of animals loudly
2.1  Reading loudly by speech and intonation about the name of animals
3.1  Writing the name of animals

III.       INDICATOR
                  1. Students can mention the name of animals
2. Students can spell the name of animals
          3. Students can write down the name of animals with perfect spelling




IV.       PURPOSES OF THE LEARNING
After the learning process, students are able to interact verbally and in writing about the name of animals

V.        MATERIALS

A. THE NAME OF ANIMALS

            1. Direct Method
                  Students mention the name of animals
            2. Audio Visual Method
                Teacher show the video “going to the zoo”

VII.     LEARNING METHOD

            1. FIRST ACTIVITY
a.      Greeting To The Class
Teacher            : “Assalamualaikum”
                           “Hi kids, good morning”
Student           : “Walaikumsalam, good morning miss”
b.      Teaching Conditioning
Teacher            : “How are you getting on, kids?”
Student            : “I’m great”
Teacher            : “Are you ready to start the lesson?”
c.       Pray Before Opening Lesson
Teacher           : “Before we open this lesson, lets pray together by saying
                       basmalah”
Student           : “Bismillahirohmanirrahim”
d.      Checking the attendance
Teacher            : “Lets see, who’s not present today?”
e.       Showing Concern
Teacher            : “Why is ..... not present today?”
Teacher            : “Hopefully .... is better”
f.       Ice Breaking
Teacher            : “Do you know, what day is today? and what date is today?”
g.      Apperception
Teacher            : “OK lets start the lesson”
                           “Pay attention to this!”
h.      Presenting Learning Objectives
Teacher            : “Today, we are going to talk about animals”

2. MAIN ACTIVITY

EXPLORATION
a.       Teacher asks about kinds of animals to students
(“Kids, Can you mention the name of animals that you know ?”)
b.      Teacher shows the video that explain about the animals
(“I will shows the video to all of you, please check it out”)
c.       Student pay attention to the video

ELABORATION
a.       Teacher explains kinds of animals based on the picture
b.      Students repeat the name of animals based on the teacher said
c.       Student answer the questions on the white board
d.      Teacher making a small game to elaborate knowledge of students (there are three students for each group)

CONFIRMATION
a.       Teacher points out the picture of the animals by some student to mention it
b.      Teacher points out the game
c.       Teacher corrects if there is any mistakes produced by students

3. CLOSING ACTIVITY

a.      Summary
Teacher            : “Lets make the conclusion”
                          “Today, we were studied about the name of animals”
                          “Can you repeat, What animals do you mention it ?”
b.      Closing sentences
Teacher            : “Well, our time is up”
                          “I think that enough for today”
                          “Lets finish our lesson by saying hamdalah”
                          “See you on next Thursday”
